Where do Scout badges go on the uniform?

The Scouts section is currently one troop: the Pathfinders. The intention is to start a second troop in 2008 to cope with demand. Click here to find out how you can help to make this happen. Children whose mum or dad help with the running of the Scout group get priority on the waiting list.

Scouts (aged between 10.5 and 14) have a great time in a range of indoor and outdoor activities.

The annual expedition to Brownsea Island is one of the highlights of the year. This island (now owned by the National Trust) is where Lord Baden-Powell had his first experimental Scout camp.

Scouts do many activities, such as night hikes, orienteering, camping, pioneering and take part in community events like the WOT FM radio broadcast and Remembrance Day service.

A number of awards and badges recognise the achievements of the Scouts.
