New parents (or carers) receive an information pack to explain the way the  group is organised and what is expected of the child and the adults.

The information pack contains a number of forms which need to be returned before the child can be invested:

  • Information form about the child (incl. medical information)
  • Information form about the parents/carers
  • A parents agreement
  • Standing order form (optional - but preferred to minimise the administration for the leaders)
  • Gift aid form (for parents who are tax payers)
  • Criminal Records Bureau form (which can be requested by emailing crb@wottonscoutgroup.org)
For certain activities it is a requirement to complete additional paperwork (e.g. camps).

If you have any questions or concerns about your child in scouting or the way the group is run, please don't hesitate to discuss this with the scout leader.

You can also email the Group Scout Leader, who will be happy to discuss your concerns.
