Helping with scouting is fun! Whether you are new to scouting or remember scouting from your own youth, helping will be rewarding and fun.

There are many ways you can help with scouting in Wotton-under-Edge, as leader or in some other role to support the running of the group.

We currently are looking for:

  • Assistant Leader(s) or Leader(s) for beavers, cubs and scouts
  • Parent representatives on the Executive Committee
  • Administrative support for Leaders
  • Helpers for specific one-off activities
  • Members of our Scout Active Support unit.

You will be well supported in your role, with training available where required.

All training cost and 50% of the cost of a leader's uniform will be funded by the group.

Children of parents who take on a defined role will be given priority on the waiting list.

Try it out ! (you don't need to commit straight away).

Step 3

Get started. With initial (minimal) training. We will make sure we support you when everything is new to you.
